Before You Begin
What this is
FoolsQuest does not tell you what to do. It holds up a mirror. The cards lay down a scene, and you find yourself somewhere inside it. What you recognize there is the reading.
What is about to happen
You will walk a short path. A card opens, and from it a way forward appears — a rune, a house, a turning. You choose, and the next card answers the one before it. You are not being graded and you are not being predicted. You are being shown, one step at a time, until the path closes.
Hold your question
A question, a worry, a hope, or simply the shape of what is unsettled. You will not say it aloud, and it never leaves this device — the deck answers the part of you that already knows. Naming it now is only so that, at the end, you can recognize whether the cards spoke to it.
